Liva a 11 ans lorsque sa mère Tiana lui fait partager l’importance de l’artisanat pour l’indépendance de la femme.

Arrivé à l’âge adulte, l’idée de concevoir des accessoires qui valorisent les ressources naturelles et les savoir-faire anciens de Madagascar, tout en y apportant une touche contemporaine, fait son chemin.

Liva was 11 years old when her mother Tiana shared with her the importance of handicrafts for women’s independence.

As an adult, the idea of designing accessories that make the most of Madagascar’s natural resources and ancient know-how, while adding a contemporary touch, was born.

Tiana ayant toujours œuvré dans l’artisanat et la pérennisation des savoir-faire est enthousiasmée par l’idée de son fils. Elle s’investit pleinement dans ce projet et recrute avec lui les premiers artisans. Devant l’ampleur du projet, ils s’accrochent et nomment symboliquement la marque IBELIV.

Comme une évidence, IBELIV souhaite offrir aux femmes malgaches une perspective professionnelle et émancipante.

Tiana, who has always been involved in crafts and the perpetuation of know-how, was enthusiastic about her son’s idea. She threw herself wholeheartedly into the project, working with him to recruit the first craftsmen. Faced with the scope of the project, they stuck with it and symbolically named the brand IBELIV.

It’s obvious that IBELIV wants to offer Malagasy women a professional and emancipating perspective.

Aujourd’hui, la collection IBELIV est le fruit du travail d’une équipe de passionnés qui s’attachent à transmettre leur sensibilité pour le beau et l’amour de leur métier.
