C’est en souvenir d’un flacon de cristal retrouvé dans les hautes herbes du maquis corse au pied du vieux couvent San Francescu dans le Nebbio que la fragrance eaudecouvent a été créée par Candida Romero.

Pour divinedecouvent, le coeur du parfum est un élégant mélange de petit grain et de jasmin. La composition se termine sur une douce senteur de musc associée à la fraîcheur et la délicatesse du thé blanc.

The eaudecouvent product line is not mere coincidence; the idea for its composition clearly presented itself from the moment its creator, Candida Romero, an artist at heart and painter by profession, discovered and took possession of a unique site, the San Francescu convent.

She immediately set herself the aim of restoring this Corsican political hub that dates back to the 13th century, saving it from oblivion, and reviving the mysteries of its history that reign sovereign in its centuries-old chapel.

The story is set at the very Northern tip of Corsica racked by a beauty that Candida immediately captured and looked to tame. Her San Francescu convent stands tall in the hills of Oletta where the village of St Florent winds its pretty way: she has been regularly and religiously coming here for over ten years to bring it back to life again through art – her passion!

eaudecouvent was created by Candida Romero in memory of a crystal bottle found in the tall grass of the Corsican maquis at the foot of the old San Francescu Convent in the Nebbio region.
