Inspirée d’une fresque antique de la Villa de Livia Drusilla près de Rome, Grenades emprunte aussi certaines influences à l’art asiatique, avec sa composition en chinoiserie traditionnelle. À mi-chemin entre l’orient et l’occident, Grenades offre une promenade dans un décor de raffinement et de gourmandise.
Inspired by an antique fresco in Livia Drusilla’s Villa near Rome, Grenades also borrows influences from Asian art, with its traditional chinoiserie composition. Halfway between East and West, Grenades offers a stroll through a decor of refinement and indulgence.
Entièrement dessinée à la main par l’artiste Catherine Cavarec Prigent, cette chinoisierie est réalisée aux crayons de couleur et à la peinture à dorer, Grenades révèle un trait fin et minutieux, signature même du style de l’artiste.
Entirely hand-drawn by artist Catherine Cavarec Prigent, this chinoiserie is created using colored pencils and gilding paint. Grenades reveals the fine, meticulous lines that are the very signature of the artist’s style.
